The patient is a 54 year old female interested in refreshing her appearance by rejuvenating her skin and reducing the puffiness of her lower eyelids. The patient had a chronic seasonal allergy problem causing swelling which combined with thin lower orbital fat pads made the skin swell and sag, giving the patient a constantly tired appearance. Her fair complexion was marked with wrinkling from prior sun damage. Dr. Reedy was able to address her concerns by performing a lower eyelid blepharoplasty and Fraxel laser resurfacing. The patient healed beautifully. Most notably, her skin appears glowing and fresh and her lower eyes no longer have that tired look – a subtle yet stunning result.
