It is used for inserting silicone gel implants, and the device allows the surgeon to insert the implant through a smaller incision. Further, its use helps reduce the possibility of bacteria being transmitted during the surgery, as the surgeon can use a no-touch technique to insert the implants without touching them with the hands or without contacting the patient’s skin.
