What is DAXXIFY?
DAXI is an FDA-approved neurotoxin that is precisely injected into muscles that cause expression lines and wrinkles. Within 24-72 hours after being treated, the targeted muscles will temporarily relax, and your expression lines will fade to reveal a more refreshed, wrinkle-free appearance.
Unlike other neurotoxin injectables that contain accessory proteins to stabilize active ingredients, DAXI is formulated with a peptide stabilizer—which helps to extend its anti-wrinkle effects. Along with its unique formulation, its longer-lasting anti-wrinkle effects set DAXI apart from other brands on the market. During clinical trials, some patients experienced anti-wrinkle effects lasting twice as long as other neuromodulators.
Is DAXXIFY safe?

Your DAXXIFY treatment at Berks Plastic Surgery
Your treatment will be performed in our comfortable and private treatment room.
Before treatment
After discussing your goals and concerns, we will examine your facial anatomy and underlying musculature. Once we have determined the precise locations DAXI should be injected to achieve the results you are looking for, we will clean the treatment area and offer a topical numbing cream to minimize any discomfort during treatment.
During treatment
Once you are comfortable, DAXI is carefully injected using an ultra-fine needle to achieve the most natural-looking results. A cold compress will be applied to minimize bruising, swelling, and discomfort. DAXI treatments typically take 10-15 minutes.
After treatment
After treatment, you will be able to return to most normal activities. We simply ask that you avoid strenuous activity and touching your face for a few hours after your appointment to prevent the product from migrating outside the treatment area. Again, DAXI’s effects last for up to two times longer than other neuromodulators, and your injector will advise you on when to schedule your follow-up appointment to maintain the anti-aging effects.
