The patient is a 51 year old female with 40DDD breasts. The patient was not only concerned with the size of her breasts, but there was also a severe asymmetry, the left being larger than the right. Her breast size caused nearly constant back, neck, shoulder and breast pain, as well as arm numbness and tingling. The patient had recently lost 35 pounds and unfortunately noted no change in her breast size. Dr. Reedy was able to remove 2 ¼ pounds of breast tissue with this bilateral breast reduction. The patient was very pleased with the end result, as Dr. Reedy was able to address her symmetry issues and keep her breasts in proportion to her body.
