The patient is a 27 year old female with very large breasts, a 42-44 H-I cup. The patient had the common symptoms of large breasted women: severe back, neck and shoulder pain and rashes under the breasts. The patient had lost 20 pounds prior to her consultation and did not see any significant reduction in the breasts with the weight loss. At the consultation the patient wished to remain a D to DD cup to compliment her size. Dr. Reedy was able to remove 4.5 pounds of breast tissue with this breast reduction. The patient reported a 90% reduction in her pre-operative symptoms at her 2 week check up and was quite pleased with the result, lifted, symmetrical 42DD breasts.
