The 76-year-old female was bothered by excess muscle and skin on the upper eyelids giving her a tired appearance. After consulting with Dr. Reedy she decided to have an upper lid blepharoplasty and Fraxel resurfacing of the eye area to give her a younger, more refreshed look. The result was subtle, yet markedly improved. The eye area was refreshed with the removal of the excess upper lid tissue and muscle. The fine lines around the eyes were also smoothed with the use of the Fraxel laser. The patient was very pleased with the result, feeling the procedure gave her a much younger and refreshed look.
