The 62-year-old male presented to Dr. Reedy to discuss surgical options to improve his vision. Initial testing proved that the patient had significant dermato and blepharochalasis with at least a 50% obstruction of his visual fields from the excessive skin and muscle hanging on his lash line bilaterally. The patient was ecstatic with the result reporting that his vision deficit caused by the excessive tissue was completely corrected after the surgery. Dr. Reedy achieved excellent symmetry and form, but most importantly, postoperatively there was no evidence of lateral or superior visual field deficits which greatly improved this patient’s quality of life.
