The patient, a 54-year-old female, was interested in rejuvenation in and around the eye area. The patient had significant wrinkling and damage to her skin from aging, sun exposure and a history of smoking. She also had asymmetry with more skin and muscle weighing on the left eye than the right. After discussing all available options, the patient chose to pursue an upper lid blepharoplasty and Fraxel laser resurfacing of the periocular area. The patient was thrilled with the results. Dr. Reedy was able to achieve a more symmetrical appearance to the upper lids. With the use of the Fraxel around the eye area the skin texture, tone, and wrinkling were also quite improved. The combination of procedures, while subtle, gave the patient a refreshed and younger looking appearance.
